Doug Bennett


Douglas M. Bennett graduated from the University of British Columbia & McGill University. After a four year period as a pharmaceutical sales representative, he was promoted from the field into a Product Management position with a major U.S.-based multinational hospital products manufacturer. During the next five years, his career progressed quickly through various staff and line management positions until in 1977, he was confirmed as Director with full P&L responsibility for a $ 30MM organization. In his nearly four years in this role, Mr. Bennett gained significant strategic planning and general management experience, and spearheaded several major projects involving acquisitions, organizational change, computer modeling and sales force management.

Although Mr. Bennett has been a management consultant since founding the Company in 1981, he was, for a period of time, also President and part-owner of a computer consulting firm specializing in the installation of ACCPAC Plus accounting software. This experience enabled Mr. Bennett to hone his skills in accounting & finance, general management, and computer applications.

Mr. Bennett's extensive experience has served as a valuable resource for clients and consulting staff alike. He has worked with clients in many different industries and countries on projects ranging from organizational dynamics through marketing planning. His expertise as a strategist is in particular demand. Doug has a talent that is often taken for granted in the consulting business, namely the ability to convert often confusing market information into understandable actionable strategy.
